Blue’s Clues made its debut on Nickelodeon in 1996 as part of Nick Jr.
Created by a freelance writer for NickJr, Angela Santomero.
Each Blue’s Clues episode takes about ten months to complete.
The first Blue’s Clues movie, 'Blue’s Big Musical Movie' was released in 2000.
Blue’s Clues is one of the most viewed programs preschool children.

Information

Blue, the star of the show, is a blue puppy that places clues around her world for viewers to find so that they can figure out what Blue wants to do. Blue leaves her blue paw print on the clues to make the task a little easier. Steve, a human, helps the preschooler viewers find the clues. Tickety Tock, the clock, teaches how to tell time. Magenta and Blue’s other friends help entertain the preschool viewers while they are waiting for the next clue. When a clue is found, Steve and the viewers can draw the picture in their Blue’s Clues Handy Dandy Notebook. After all the clues have been found, the preschool viewers help Steve figure out what Blue wants.

The beauty of it is that Nick Jr. shows the same program everyday for a week. This is so that children can see the same shows and build confidence and play along with Steve and Blue. As a bonus to parents there are no commercials.
